Intl. conference on dust storms gets underway in Tehran

The three-day International Conference on Combating Sand and Dust Storms: Challenges and Practical Solutions” kicked off in Tehran on Monday. Representatives from 30 countries are participating in the event, organized by Iran’s Department of Environment and Foreign Ministry, with the cooperation of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs of the United Nations Secretariat, UN Environment and the UN Development Program among others.Tehran Times / Maryam Kamyab
